The folks at Wieden + Kennedy London have done it again. Their new spot for Honda is magnificent. These are the same folks who brought us the now legendary "COG" spot. I'm not going to speculate on cost or effectiveness of the effort. But something inside me tells me this spot will move some cars for Honda. The guys over at AdPulp have more. You can view the spot here. The commercial was shot in both Spain and England. It was written and art directed by Matt Gooden, Michael Russoff and Ben Walker. It was directed by Antoine Bardou-Jacquet at Parizan.
UPDATE Marc Babej offers this:
"What does it achieve for Honda? Unfortunately, not much of anything. The same spot could have featured a Toyota, Volkswagen or Mercedes, and it would have worked just as well creatively. Which also means it would have worked just as badly in terms of achieving any business objective." More from Marc here.
