Yet again the battery pack needs to be improved. A 2.4 Volt battery runs the servos slowly and with almost no torque. I need a small pack that's laid out in such a way that it fits in the pod without much modification, but with high voltage - no less than 4.8V.
While I was charging another glider I realized it uses just such a battery. I need the battery to finish my 50-X... the fastest solution would be a high speed inverse harrier roll. However that plane's in for repairs already so I ended up taking a battery from still another plane with the same type battery that had already done the aforementioned maneuver.
Anyway...
It's from Art Hobby. It weighs 32.4 grams.
The new battery is similar in shape and size to the old one so it doesn't require changing the installation method much. The only adjustment was to make a hole in bulkhead #3 because this pack is a centimeter longer than the old one.
