Then you need to go to work for the customer. Customers have jobs for folks like you... they're called purchasing agents and buyers. If you're selling or marketing then your job is to advocate for your company. Otherwise the system is out of balance and the customer has an unfair advantage. But then again, that's the purpose of many new marketing notions... to put the customer in control of your enterprise, not unlike the inmates in charge of the asylum, the children in charge of the classroom , or the Democrats in charge of Congress.
